And here! Just returned by the
brief, but pleasant winter stay in Calabria. Very different
region certainly in comparison to that known from the tourists
in the summer, but equally relaxing! All it takes is spending
a day observing the sea and the chase each other himself/herself/themselves
of his/her waves, that suddenly he forgets the anxiety, the
nervousness and the stress caused to follow him of my long
university examinations. A suggestion: whoever wants to relax
himself/herself/themselves and to find some calm goes to Calabria,
to Stylus, to the Stings Diving Center I Word!! Don't care
if in summer or in winter! Here everything is very slower
and less chaotic than the great metropolises (I write from
Milan, capital of the Fashion, but also of the hurry and of
the movement!). In Calabria, besides resting me, you/he/she
has happened me the opportunity to be able to participate
to important activities of volontariato, organized by the
grandiose one and always modern Diving Center Stings Stylus.
In the summer 2003 have taken part to the project "Sure
Beaches." It wakes up soon, gazebo in the beach with
table and chairs, together with other volunteers we spent
the days attentively observing the beach, the swimmers and
the conditions of the sea, signalling possible anomalies to
the toll-free number of the Capitaneria of I Bring. I was
in fusion with my beloved sea (I am a Scorpioncina, awful
I mark of water) from the morning up to the late afternoon,
happy of this innovative experience! The people are not missed
that believed to be himself/herself/themselves in front of
of the beach-attendants, style Baywatch!! Nothing of all this!
We free worked, happy to be able to be available to help the
others and to improve the Calabrian beaches. Very beautiful,
but, alas, often a little you organize and you exploit (you
are enough to see the coast romagnola: marshy water and flood
water but crowded beaches always, with gyms, tubs idromassaggio
and even fountains!). At times a simple vigilant look was
enough on the swimmers, make to feel me more partecipes of
a development that was to the beginning, but that was suffered
noticed! In the summer 2004 have changed landscape, devoting
me to the woods and participating so to the project A.I.B.
Organized Wooded Anti Incendio dall' Provincial Administration
of Reggio Calabria Department Civil Protection. Monitorare
the Valley of the Stilaro needed, unfortunately tormented
by numerous and frequent fires, fraudulent and not. Every
year, bringing me in Calabria to find relatives and friends,
punctually I assist to scenes of fires devastanti and destructive
for lawns, fields and trees. This way, last summer, I have
decided to also give me my contribution signalling the presence
of sighted hotbeds and necessary chiamando,se, the number
Anti Incendio, to ask for the intervention of the canadairs
(big helicopters employed for extinguishing the fires, withdrawing
the water from the sea). Anywhere I went, I was careful to
the surrounding environment and, I have to admit, that my
signalings have been rather numerous! Some days ago I have
approached in Calabria to escape the urban frantic rhythm,
and I have had the possibility, together to Alfina and to
Mario Tassone, to participate in the Conference "Development
of the action of the Voluntary Officers of the Fire, in the
system of the Civil Protection", developed him to Lamezia
Terme January 27 th 2005, in a modern and well organized structure.
Beautiful, but isolated construction, without some road indication
to be able to reach her/it. But with the great sense of the
orientation of Mario, have succeeded in arriving for first!
An immense Salts Theater all for us… until the chairmen of
this interesting conference they have arrived! Us, dressed
with the eccentric uniform of Civil Protection of the Diving
Center Stings Stylus Staff Sommozzatori, we tried to put us
in laying to be framed to the best by the television cameras
of some important Calabrian television nets. Sinned that really
in these days the conference has been transmitted in TV and
me, already returned in Milan, has not been able to see him/it!
This morning, bringing me in university, I have received this
beautiful news: my experiences of volunteer and linguistic
mediator with foreign tourists near the Diving Center Stings
Stylus they have been approved from the Committee of teachers
of my Faculty as formative stage. Felicita to the stars!!
Finally my works of volontariato recognized with the value
of well 9 formative credits (The Massimo!!), essential to
be able to graduate me! Thing other to add?! VOLONTARIATO:
profit for the nature, for the others and also for myself!
