APPRENTICESHIP
A. THE SEA!
Graduate I owed me really to
make this apprenticeship! Among study, last examinations,
lessons and thesis didn't want us really! I didn't know however'
that I would have made un’ really particular experience, not
dam in laboratory between white uniforms and pipettes, but
absorbed in the nature, to the discovery dell’ fascinating
world submerged that it hides endless un’' of wonder and that,
for the one who fortune has to visit him/it, it fascinates
yourself with its so curious and amusing inhabitants. Only
people as Mario and Alfina could make this apprenticeship
for me and for my companion of risks un’ unforgettable experience!
Will never end to thank these fantastic friend-instructors
that every day is hocked to organize the activities', surely
a hard thing, but that only a company as ours could relieve!
To the morning he started well with the inevitable ones candy
to the coffee of it' on the table of job and the card of the
signatures that you/he/she has accompanied us for the whole
time. The day was always very animated among searches on internet,
lessons on the fundamental principles dell’ immersion and
on the kinds that you/they live our sea. This' that you/he/she
has mostly hocked us they have been the jobs of preparation
of the tools that had to be use for the samplings and the
studies dell’ alga “assassina” Caulerpa taxifolia and of the
sea fanerogama threatened by this alga: the oceanic Posidonia.
Then these jobs have been object of our theses of degree.
The Caulerpa taxifolia (Discovery and Signalled in our fonfalis
by Alfina and Mario in 1999, what official signallers for
Calabria) it represents a real threat in how much you/he/she
is suffocating the oceanic Posidonia, destroying and altering
there ecosystem of our sea. It won't stay' nothing of the
marvelous backdrops of the Mediterranean if don't be shifted
a po’ the minds of everybody of forehead to such a serious
problem for our sea, for the flora and the fauna and also
for there man, although continuous to exploit her. Our jobs
of thesis are developed to Scilla where to signal for the
first time in 1999 the presence of this alga they have been
really Mario and Alfina. This shows as these two people loves
the sea and makes always available of whom loves him/it equally
their knowledges and experiences. During the apprenticeship
I have had the possibility' to take the brevet and I will
never forget my first immersions, when a hand or a look were
always ready to reassure me. But not c’ were only the immersions
to cheer our days, also the walks in the paths of the mountains
of the Stilaro that entertain wonder of every kind, magic
and mystery dipped between flowers of thousand colors and
falls of suggestive beauty. A whole book would not be enough
for telling what we have done in that twenty days of apprenticeship
and all the ice creams that there are mangiati… my apprenticeship
and state to live everything this together with of the fantastic
people as Mario and Alfina, Maria Assunta, my companion of
adventure and its fantastic family that you/he/she has welcomed
me with warm affection. Friend-sub don't waste time, race
to Stylus because' he is not able not to live un’ similar
experience! I want to conclude with the thought of a man that
I have known to the Diving Center Stings Stylus through his/her
work “OCEANI”, Jacques Cousteau: “ Find the answer in the
oceans I am certain of it, rather than in the celestial space,
and then we will know as you/they have had beginning the earth
and the life; and the sea, from which we were born, sara also
there last landing. Before there man abandons the earth for
